Putin will lose his life because of it. Actually I'm sure he is not the only one.

Putin needs to pay for this.

Gee, vlad, you must be so proud...

11. I doubt very much that he is a man that thinks much about men like Navalny being a martyr.

Very much more about men like Navalny being made an example. That is a very Stalinesque approach, and Putin is a very Stalinesque kinda guy. They see an objective and approach it ruthlessly and single-mindedly; "collateral damage" is a concept they understand only intellectually and not emotionally. (verb tenses aside)

Between 1940 and, maybe, 1948, Stalin "facilitated," shall I say, the deaths of up to 60,000,000 of his citizens. Many of them just "disappeared" into the Gulag Archipelago to satisfy his paranoia.

Two Canadas. Two Californias. Inconceivable to us, members of the human community.

after he was out of the hospital. I know he is an activist but I just don't want him to die. Putin will be president for life.

I think he should have stayed out of Russia and done his activism from abroad. He could be very effective that way plus he'd be alive and could continue fighting.

I wish Biden would pressure him more. Of course we don't know all the details so maybe Biden has been more forceful in private Putin talks.

The lead singer of the Russian band Pussy Riot was talking to Lawrence O'Donnell and she said that Putin likes to appear as if he doesn't care what America or other world leaders think of him when in fact he cares a great deal. I hope Navalny doesn't run out of time though.
