This guy knew the effect of his lies and told them egregiously and intentionally. It's one thing to sit in the bar and brag to your 20 closest buddies a what-if rumor. It is another to knowingly broadcast it to thousands as if you speak with authoritative fact, while you profit from spreading the lie.

He may not be the sharpest tool in the box but he knew the effect of his lies. Fraud is Fraud. Other people could reasonably sue him based on it. The Sun and other rumor sheets have been, as have several of our more popular conservative pundits. The point is not whether he was "entertaining" with his pernicious gossip. It is the harm that it has caused.

It is not one or two comments but an entire string of conspiracy theory intended to provoke real violence and reaction. Yelling fire in a theater is one thing and you can be held responsible for the damage. This guy built a platform to yell in the largest megaphone but one with the specific intent of stampeding the sheep. Lots of harm and intended harm there to pursue.

My second thought is that Q is being prompted and financed by Russia. These people aren't going to get up and make absolute fools of themselves out of their beliefs, it's for money and power.

Trump did most of Putin's work for him. Now, all he has is hate and an incredible following to keep the hate growing. Trump never succeeded at anything, but he's doing a pretty good job of that.
