(22,114 posts)Their online and voice services in handling the scheduling of shots is confusing as hell, and not up-to-date as to where shots are available, etc. By the time I see that XX number of shots are available at site A, or site B, etc., they are gone (and the XX number of shots available blurb is still out there.
I'm just about to call my doc, see if they are planning on getting a bank of shots to give out to their patients.
Just a heads up on anyone else out there trying to get shot(s) lined up. Walgreen's is a nightmare. Perhaps it's the case elsewhere too. I don't know.

My sister has been sick for over week now with Covid and still has a fever, nausea and completely lost her sense of smell. She got it from a Trumpster co-worker who is anti-mask. He came close to her desk without a mask was there long enough to pass it along. Even though she's been super careful, had her first vaccine, was wearing a mask and has asked her co-workers to step back or not come by her desk without a mask, she got it and so did a half dozen other co-workers.

(153,160 posts)I was running into the same problem as a night shift worker - by the time I woke up, all appointments were filled.....what I did was I let all my friends know my predicament, and a few days ago I received a text from someone at 10PM to check a site where a slew of appointments had opened, and was able to snag myself one for tomorrow.
oh an I am wondering if your sister and coworkers can SUE that maskhole, what a disgrace......their boss should have intervened

(840 posts)If she suffers longterm injury or disability she shojld sue that guy and the company.
I find this behavior extremely egregious. One of my work team refuses to get the vaccine and others have let our boss know they won't go back to the office (all working from home now) with her there. Yup.

(18,672 posts)The guy is a Trump supporter and anti-mask, but feels bad about it. It's sad that a lot of right wing worlds end at the tip of their noses and oftentimes they refuse to acknowledge a thing exists unless they are directly effected.

(153,160 posts)they call themselves "Christian" and "pro-life" yet love their guns and refuse to take even the simplest steps to stop the spread of Covid - they make me sick - heck, sometimes, it would seem, LITERALLY
