I would assume a guilty verdict will take much longer than innocent lindysalsagal Apr 2021 #2
'Not Guilty' requires unanimous verdict just as a conviction does. The former is not going to happen. hlthe2b Apr 2021 #4
It probably depends on how many deplorables are on the jury. LonePirate Apr 2021 #3

If there are none, the jury should return a quick verdict.

If there are one or two, the jury will likely spend a few days or weeks trying to persuade them.

If there are several, the jury may reach a hung jury status relatively quickly.

If there are nothing but deplorables on the jury, a not guilty verdict will be delivered quickly.

...could be anything.
In March 2020, I was on a felony jury. (Domestic battery)
In our case, I ran the conversation for only around 20 minutes. One vote, & all 12 said not guilty.
We were 30 minutes from jury instructions to case dismissed.
But, I'm sure this case is more complicated.
I'll guess Friday.

If there is a right winger on the jury, the others must ask that person what their doubt is.
From the bits I have watched there can be no "reasonable" doubt. The guilt of Chauvin has
been demonstrated many times over.
