There's a lovely State Park about 1.5 miles from my home

a drive-through vaccination clinic would be so nice.

The nearest max-vac site is over an hour away, and all the pharmacy/health facility appointments fill up faster than they can be announced.

And no, I don't live in a red state. And no, it's not a state where you can drive for 10 miles and never see a store, or a house, etc.

Is it because there are not enough vaccines?

I live in a state that turned red for the first time in my memory. We have a republican Governor, yet vaccines seemed to have been handled pretty well though he has not I forced other measures well. A few weeks ago the age limit was dropped to 16. When I was actively making appointments for about 15 friends, I saw county run centers in the largest cities but also smaller towns.

Good luck.

The vaccines are a miracle so demand is high. But at 3 million vaccines per day soon we will have vaccinated all the people who want one. In a month there will be a huge oversupply. Keep trying.

It’s been much easier to get a jab in Philadelphia, if you reside there, than in the surrounding suburbs. We had to drive to Lancaster, Pa- 1.5 hours away.
Some I know from Pa went to NJ.

- not your location but,

I randomly looked at zip codes in southern NH 03031-03033 and many locations had vaccine stock- plus they offer a phone number for each site- perhaps you can get one this way?.

Getting an appt. has been a real pain- but, keep looking. It’ll get easier. 😉

Appointments will be available through vaccines.nh.gov or by calling 211

On edit - I don't know how long the wait is. My son and his fiancee live in NH and they have an appointment for 4/30 - I don't know if that was a date of convenience for them or if they are making appointments that far out.

You could do it in any parking lot, assuming there’s enough population density to warrant a location.

there aren't a lot of people visiting the state park/lake. So not only is it a big parking lot, but it's a big parking lot that isn't being used. PLUS the state owns it, so they don't have to ask permission for use.

I hope you find success soon. Here in MI, it seemed like I would never get a vaccination... now opportunities have really opened up (2nd dose in a week). There is a wonderful person (a journalist, I believe) on Twitter that is combing our state and providing info regarding vaccination opportunities.

@vaccinetime and @CVSvaccineMA - you will know as soon as appointments open if you enable notifications.

There have been a ton of appointments open at CVS in the last week.

Starting Monday, people from all states, including all of New England, will be eligible to sign up for a COVID-19 vaccination appointment in New Hampshire.

Appointments will be available through vaccines.nh.gov or by calling 211
