but the problem isn't not knowing that. The problem is the large numbers of people who want to go backwards.

Or think they do. And some never grasp why that's not a good idea.

gravitate towards authoritarianism and fascism. This is why the so-called "conservatives" have been actively dumbing down the population for the last 100 years.

"An educated populace is an INFORMED populace"...

That's the LAST THING Repukes want. That's why the simplicity of the "gays, guns, and God" argument continues to persuade idiots to vote against their own best interests decade after decade...

Weak minded individuals WANT to be told what to do and how to think.
The United States of Gideon is the goal. Not sure they won't achieve that.....
