The bill cleared the House last summer but it died in the Senate. Now President Biden is pushing the bill again in the wake of the Chauvin verdict.

Plus, it will be filibustered, so until Manchin, Sinema, and Feinstein agree to actual impactful modifications, it and all other bills that are not eligible for reconciliation are dead in the water.
