a day in Florida and 7% positivity rate, A person would be nuts to disregard guidelines. And Joe lives in Florida with a 87 year old mother in law!

Unless you are jammed into a stadium setting with 70,000 people.

Or are walking very crowded streets with no space at all.

You are fine to be without a mask outdoors 90% of the time.

Did these people contract the virus outside?

Had they been vaccinated?

Or did they go dine indoors? Go to a bar?

Engage in other risky behavior?

If you are vaccinated, outdoors is almost entirely safe unless you are right up on people.
And even then the vaccine efficacy is 95%.

So you are still VERY safe outdoors without a mask on.

IF YOU ARE VACCINATED (which was the original thrust of the OP)

the lawn, riding a bike or walking from the parking lot to Wal-Mart. I was in Wal-Mart today I doubt 1/2 the customers were wearing one in the store.

The vaccines are 76% - 95% effective, not 100%. If only half of the fools indoors are wearing them, you're putting yourself at risk.

biking? i don't know

parking lot into walmart - i'd say yes, considering you might be passing someone who sneezes or coughs.

inside walmart and a lot of anti maskers? please consider doing pre-orders and just going to pick things up rather than going inside and being around those without masks.

target does the drive up/pick up too.

post. I was referring to wearing a mask, even outdoors, when close to others. No need ever when just outside away from people. We still need to be careful. Sit away from people in a restaurant, wear a mask when ordering, don't congregate in a crowded bar. All the anti vaxers keep us vulnerable folks needing to be ultra careful. Not good for a tv personality to tell his fans otherwise.
