OP
I'm confused, does this mean "confirmed" or does it mean another voting process in queue?

(7,281 posts)7. Thank you, I haven't been keeping up- personal stuff going on
But I *think* I heard mentioned by a pundit this morning that McConnell is going to block these confirmations to DOJ and I believe I read that Tom Cotton intended to block any nominations to the DOJ from Democratic States.
I don't have Cspan and there's rarely a clip of discussions on the Senate floor, so I'm totally in the dark regarding how Schumer is going to be able to get around these obstacles. Do you know what the current strategy is by any chance?

(18,486 posts)8. That vote to proceed is the last step before the final vote
That vote can't be blocked at this point.

(7,281 posts)9. That's a relief, I've been worried about it for weeks.
Thank you!

Manchin, of course, was voting for in case anyone's wondering, like me, just what was being shouted. Still wondering.
