No, torture was kneeling on George Floyds neck for 9 minutes as he called for his mama. I can't wait until they reach him in prison 😉. I have zero sympathy for that animal Chauvin

You stated Solitary is torture.

He IS much safer in solitary.

Do you REALLY want him in the general Population?-- knowing he may/probably be killed ?

Society has to protect itself and with that comes tough choices. There are bad/evil / amoral people out there.

The easiest way to answer some of these questions ask yourself if the person killed was your loved one, what would you want?

Also, the toughest prison in the US is SUPERMAX.

All solitary.
NO ONE killed
They have b/w TVs
One hour a day exercise.

And one more thing...ask yourself is prison for punishment or rehabilitation ?

In whatever model of justice we might have at the time, I would want those closest to the victim to be centered in a process that also provided true rehabilitation to the perpetrator.

He can either feel sorry for his miserable self, or he can reflect on what he did. It will probably be the former. Sociopaths are incapable of self-reflection.

... that's best. We have a society that is working... justice is working correctly... he needs to be sentenced and serve his prison time. If he was put in with other inmates, it is likely he would be killed quickly.

And all this speculation about the guards: They're not in great psychological shape, either. I can't imagine knowing I'd be working with hardened criminals in that cold, hard lonely place until retirement. It's got to be a pretty bad place, mentally. They will probably do the minimum required for the job.

I just hope some of the guards are black.....because then he'll be totally dependent on black officers, and come to see them as valuable people. Only then will he understand the fact that he took a human being from this world.
