about deficits when we have a Democratic president. You didn't see "The Tea Party" when the Trump administration was piling up deficits. Also, when Clinton left office we had a budget surplus. What happened? I guess the Bush tax cuts and the 2nd Gulf War didn't pay for themselves. The Republican version of conservatism simply means tax cuts which are skewed to the higher income brackets. When deficits occur during a Republican admin., they are silent.
