The Republican Party has completed its transformation into an anti-majoritarian party. It not only fails to win majorities; it no longer tries. Anti-majoritarian governing is no longer seen by the GOP as a flaw to be fixed, but a feature to be exploited.

Party of Trump? Bush? Cheney? Gingrich? They have made the evolutionary transition to the Organized Crime Party. Al Capone would be impressed. Think if he had applied the levels of corruption back in the day when there was no real social media.
