Groups on Facebook fighting about it.

What a horrible thing to pull! Loychick is a punk and had only been in office a few months.

Mosquito State Park does not need its name changed to appease loser trumpers!

The people who have lived here their entire lives have watched generations camp, fish and boat, and swim here.

One, a bloodsucking curse on humanity that spreads disease and has absolutely no redeeming qualities; the other, a small flying insect that bites people. Decisions, decisions.

Perhaps a compromise could be reached. Keep the park name as is and just rename the restroom facilities after the former guy. "The Former Guy Memorial Outhouse Pavilion at Mosquito Lake State Park" has a certain distinguished air to it, befitting the recipient of the honor.

300 Grand for new signs is bad enough, but has Loychick factored in an annual cost for replacing vandalized signs?
