Anyone familiar with this? From 2017.

http://www.uawire.org/media-russians-are-forming-armed-military-groups-in-the-us

Russia is creating paramilitary youth groups in the US

Employees of Russian consulates are engaged in the creation of a network of pro-Russian youth paramilitary detachments in the USA, reported SlavicSac.com.

The article’s author writes that ahead of Russia’s invasion of the Donbas and the Crimea, representatives of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs, Rosmolodyozh, an organization that is one of the Kremlin's main tools for patriotic influence on the minds of young Russians, had become frequent guests in American cities. They began to massively organize youth cells and patriotic camps following the example of Soviet pioneer camps.

So-called children's pro-Russian paramilitary "boot camps" began to be organized in California. One of the local Orthodox parishes in Sacramento announced that they would take in those wishing to undergo a kind of "young fighter's course" that includes handling small arms, a sports bow and throwing knives, as well as drills and patriotic training.

Similar youth training camps under clearly Russian names like "Scythian" or "Rusichi" have spread widely throughout the United States.

Militarized musters are regularly held in the states of Washington and Oregon. In neighboring California, a "sports-patriotic camp dedicated to the Paratrooper’s Day, a Russian military holiday" had been organized from 2012 to 2015.
More..
******

Its not surprising that a coordination of American youth against it's own Democracy would be something an aggressive foreign enemy OPs (Russia) would attempt.

I would like to have heard our own media report in this rather than the theatre drama of the past 8 years.

3. Trump was just the 24/7 Media distraction while RU walk in the front door

Reminds me of Maria Butina & her jaunts thru South Dakota. Seems I recall her doing something like these training camps for gun groups.
I'd have to dig for that article ref.

There's also a subtle tie of Peter Thiel & his Silicon Valley & RU involvements & propaganda messaging ala Bannon etc.
Back when Pres Obama kicked the Russians out of the CA Embassy.
Was that the one where they started the place on fire, something like that.

It wasn't just organizing youth against American Democracy, it was a full on social media propaganda & data collection RU m.o.

I'll try to find more about that but the outing of that secretive business was brief & never again reported on.
Probably cuz Trump had a new distraction for our midia to chase.
Will see if I can locate this info today.

How Pete Thiel escaped out the back door & off to hide in New Zeland & avoiding scrutiny, is beyond me.

8. I don't think it's wasted, except in the Trump regime.

I believe what intel we have was compiled by our allies, which happens to be pretty outstanding, thankfully.

Trump halted any forward intel gathering of all things Putin, and rolled out the welcome mat for Vlad.

I believe we're in a far better place today..longway to go, yes, but we are back in NATO & Paris Climate Accord, & Joe Biden has some trusted ties around the world, & boy do they have some intel to share, that they could never reveal to Trump.

4. Someone needs to put Putin in his place

As I'd previously posted some months ago, I had to go to a DMV office & ran into a young couple.

The male was telling me how wonderful Russia is "'cuz they don't have to pay taxes."

So I told him they might not have to pay taxes, I'm not sure, but they sure don't enjoy the freedoms we do & from what I'vd read, food is scarce.

I then asked him if he would like to stand in a line all day only to find all the loaves of bread were gone.

Horrified look on is face.

So I told him that if he really thinks Russia is so great, I'd be happy to buy him a one-way, no return ticket.

He mumbled a pretty terrified no thanks.

I have no idea if Russians stand in line for bread and most certainly would not have purchased him a ticket.

My purpose in engaging him was simply to make him think.

I also told him the "gubmint owns everything & people must get "gubmint" permission to even move to a different rental apartment. Approval can take months or even years. This I have read. Again, I'm not an expert on Russia, but knowing putin is a scumbag dictator isn't rocket surgery.

And I told him the "gubmint" controls their media & anything they put out is usually "fake news" to make their country look like the best.

"Fake news" had his eyes popping.

Did he think putin is honest?

I hope those kids think.

5. This is exactly the messaging of RU propaganda.

It is about changing the image of Russia & specifically Putin's authoritarian rule, that has been taking place.

It is classic propaganda manipulation of those (youth) to embrace another govt style over our own Democracy & its laws.

What these people, like the 2 you mentioned aren't told of is the authoritarian side of govt that exists in Russia, they amplify the 'benefit' without the actual truth.

Basically it is all a lie, a con to turn a targeted demographic against their own Democracy while embracing 'lovely Russia' under Putin's rule.
Its a messaging of "Only hear us & denounce the good of your own Democracy"

Hitler youth..seriously. And our media, radio, MSM & Social all allowed the undermining of our nation in favor of 'likes'.

Thankful for President Biden & his team.
I don't know how to ever undo the media/mind control damage, but expelling RU suspects is a good start.

Enjoy your day SheltieLover 🍃

Anything related to hellhole russia should be ousted and/or banned!

People in hellhole TN do not know why NATO was forned or why it exists!

They teach NATO means North American Treaty Org! Not joking. I wish I were!

This crap needs to stop. And, imo, the first step is indicting ALL who had a hand in 1/6 insurrectionist terror attack! Every. Single. One. With max allowable sentences for convictions!

9. Yup. Vlad should have maybe chosen less of a fk-up than Donald Trump to run his coup.

Trump's always been a loser, a total dotard.
Kinda amazing that, of all the people to ram a hostile takeover of American Democracy down our throats, Vlad chose a lifelong fk-up like Donald J Trump.

Vlad's gonna be kicking himself for that decision once President Joe Biden gets done with him.
Could turn out that Vlad's a bigger loozer than Trump!

Ha 😄🥂
