Howard Dean: The Republicans Are Now a Neo-Fascist Party
THE NEW ABNORMAL
The former presidential candidate says the Republican Party has plunged into a “crazy” abyss of “whack jobs,” “autocrats” and “nutjobs.”

“These people are crazy. They’re conspiracy theorists, they’re whack jobs. They’re embedding their own reality. I mean, if they ever really run the country, it’s going to be a disaster for us. ’Cause you... this is why autocrats don’t run good economies because they start believing in their own BS,” he said.

“You have a Republican Party, which emotionally, essentially are neo-fascist. They fundamentally do not believe that another legitimate point of view exists other than theirs.”

The former governor of Vermont said he had never been a Biden supporter but he’s been stunned by the president’s performance so far and is pleased he wasn’t making the same mistake as President Obama, who spent too much time waiting around for bipartisan support.

“Bernie Sanders said that [Biden’s] Rebuilding America bill was the most progressive piece of legislation he’d seen since Johnson and the war on poverty. And, I mean, it is,” Dean said. “I think he’s probably off to the best start of any president I’ve seen in my lifetime.”

reacted in Congress recently when a member accused them of being racist...kind of an overreaction on their part, I'd say.

Mr. Dean is absolutely right...the republican party has descended into “whack jobs,” “autocrats” and “nutjobs.” They all compete w/ each other to see who'll be the craziest one of the week in sprouting their nonsense.

Personally, republicans got caught plain and simple with their pants down, and they are racist and worse. Look at my pathetic senator from MO, the only senator that voted NO on the anti-hate bill for Asian Americans. In MO we have loads of wonderful Asian Americans and this is a damn slap in the face to them and all of their hard work in their businesses in MO.

josh says he voted no because he didn't want the feds in this business of determining what's racist etc., but I'd say he sent the wrong message to those he claims to represent in MO.

I'd say that he doesn't represent a huge majority of Missourians w/ his stand alone attitude and ridiculous stands on the most stupid and ignorant topics. An embarrassment. Some of these MO cities have significant %s of Asian Americans...I've listed just the top 4 cities below. josh 'guttermouth' hawley owes these outstanding citizens a big apology. These 4 cities alone constitute over 63K citizens alone in the St. Louis area and I didn't list them all.

Rank City % Asian Population

1 Maryland Heights 16.07% 27,080
2 Olivette 14.63% 7,849
3 Town And Country 12.88% 11,077
4 Clayton 12.7% 16,588

When Howard Dean speaks, truth comes out. He has a way of getting right to the heart of the matter and cutting out the BS.

...we can avoid having the country die as a result of his touch.

I do, nonetheless, believe that it is bad for us to lack a sane opposition and as such, I worry about the effect of the demise of sanity in the Republican party.
