Tears. My brother passed away yesterday morning while I was holding his hand. It was a very profound experience. (Not covid related. He was 78)

...and how they (especially the two younger ones, who we adopted as kittens shortly before Pumpkinhead's Plague hit) will react to their humans occasionally abandoning them for a few days (we have a good catsitter to check in, but it's not the same).
