Police: Man assaulted Walmart worker over mask request

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) — Police in Rhode Island say a man assaulted a 16-year-old Walmart worker after refusing to put a mask on his young child.

Authorities say the altercation occurred at a Walmart in North Smithfield after the teenage employee informed the man that store policy required his toddler to wear a mask. The man refused, and then the teen went to notify a manager, the man put him in a choke hold and punched him.

Police said they contacted the suspect, who turned himself in. They identified him as Michael Caro, 34, of Woonsocket. He was charged with simple assault and battery and disorderly conduct and released with a court summons.

13. Yesterday, a long time owner of a jewelry store..

In a small town in Mississippi was robbed and shot in the head. Of course, in the comments section, the first post was an ignorant comment blaming the democrats for the mask mandate. Then proceeded to call everyone sheep who wears a mask. Said if the town didn’t enforce masks then the suspect would have been identified....I remember a time when a robber was caught due to NOT wearing a disguise of some sort, they were considered “amateurs” or “dummies”.. Now it’s the Democrats fault...
Then you have idiots like this asshole assaulting employees for doing their job. World Class dad right there. So sick of these imbeciles.
