Albuquerque Mayor Slams Trump as He Refers $200K Unpaid Trump Debt to Collection Agency

Since before his 2016 campaign, former President Donald Trump had a notorious reputation for racking up debt, peddling scams, and skipping out on payments to contractors.

This habit of Trump's continued well into his 2020 campaign. Over the course of the campaign, Trump's billion dollar debts became public knowledge, and news recently broke that Trump's fundraising provider, WinRed, signed unwitting supporters up for recurring payments.

True to form, Trump has yet to pay an outstanding $200 thousand in security costs for a rally he held in Albuquerque, New Mexico back in 2019, KOB 4 reports.

The city finally resorted to referring the debt to a collection agency, with Albuquerque Democratic mayor Tim Keller saying:

"We actually treated it like any other debt, and so it goes through a somewhat process where you send a bunch of letters out. We got no response from those letters. And then automatically, it does go to an agency that helps try and collect debts, and so that's those annoying phone calls you get that say, you know, you owe money to so-and-so like now, Trump is getting those."

But even Keller doesn't think Trump will pull up the dough:

"Given what else has happened, I mean in terms of, even his own campaign owing money to donors and lots of shady stuff there, so unfortunately I don't really expect us to get paid, but it's important that we do, and you know, we would do it for anyone else, so he's no different."

Must have seen that movie over a dozen times.

Ever been to Utah? Ra-di-a-tion. Yes, indeed. You hear the most outrageous lies about it. Half-baked goggle-box do-gooders telling everybody it's bad for you. Pernicious nonsense. Everybody could stand a hundred chest X-rays a year. They ought to have them, too.

Loved Harry Dean Stanton's performance in that movie!

We were a somewhat weird group of three. Somehow we got hooked on Quincy, M.E. as well.

Great guys, we studied and partied together. Don’t think I would have graduated without them.

And to get my post back to what a worthless grifter/conman Donny Two Scoops is, I offer a final Repo Man line:

Credit is a sacred trust, it's what our free society is founded on. Do you think they give a damn about their bills in Russia? I said, do you think they give a damn about their bills in Russia?

eviction, bankruptcy, homelessness, and eventually freezing to death under a bridge amid a pile of rags, right? Isn't that the American way?

That’s a pic of him in his church, which I snagged off the internet. I masked the background in Photoshop because it was too busy for a tiny avatar image.

For a while I was using Stacey Abrams — and I still love her. But it’s Warnock Time here in Georgia until the 2022 midterms, so I wanted to shift my focus.

Otherwise, warn locals to avoid the area at the time.

Don't let him pull his usual BS where he 'settles' for pennies on the dollar.

Pay in full, with whatever penalties and fees are added on for the delays. No discount settlements!

He's much, much worse than your average debtor, or even your average, persistent welcher. He owes everyone money, and a 6 figures stiff to a city is par for the course.

but he WAS pres of the US and there was no way to Stop him. My state MAY be the least racist in the country.

As a white female I was always in the minority.

At HHS my freshman year there was a race riot (1979) The Hispanics vs whites and blacks, I was so young I didn't know what was going on. The art teacher locked us in the supply room. We had full view of the courtyard thru the window.

I became soooooooooooooo aware of race,

Our school was closed for a week.

That event has has become a fulcrum in my life. I, as a beyond white redhead female am only attracted to dark skinned hispanics or other darker men. WHY - gonna take more time for analysis.

It made me THINK

We all need to THINK.
