to remind Americans that January 6 was the first time in over 200 years that Capitol Hill was attacked. This is not about right and left - this is about a ReTHUG orchestrated attempted coup led by the Insurrectionist in Chief.
We need ads about this.

(12,230 posts)Bombshells are forthcoming from the continued investigations. I believe majority of America know the truth but the loudest are the unpatriotic t-rump's cult members which includes republican politicians. Power and greed engulfs them over democracy.

(22,920 posts)quit falling into traps of discussing right-wing extremism (Trumpism) as a political difference of opinion.
Its full-on fascism and white supremacy vs democracy and multiculturalism.
Its a values divide, and fascism and white supremacy need to be eradicated from our culture.

How do you stop cable news from doing whet you speak of? I can't watch cable news, Ari Melber makes a point of doing both sides talking points. One fucking side is talking about lizard people and drinking children's blood, fuck giving them equal time.

(268,885 posts)Ari's love for bothsidism is a weakness not a strength. He has some very good segments, but he always comes back to this both sides crap
FACT - Dems have never attempted t overthrow the elected President.Protests are very different from an attempted coup.

If you are on cable, viewership numbers can be reported in almost real time to the network. They will see the spike.
It's how one votes on what TV networks are doing.

(12,523 posts)Most people arent like people here; they dont pay attention to any of this shit until right before voting time. Dont waste valuable cash on early ads. Trump did that last year; spending a ton of money during the Super Bowl & other early events. It was forgotten before summer!

(26,614 posts)The Democratic Party should be running ads about the insurrection.
Here in Colorado, republican dark money is funding ads against "government takeover of healthcare" because our legislature formed a committee consider a public option for the state. republicans are truly evil.

(6,583 posts)We started off strong but lately it's tapered off, I'm seeing GOP messaging now dominating in too many areas, & that's how we lose elections.
The DNC needs a 24/7 messaging/marketing department to compete against the right-wing & MSM.

(1,910 posts)We care about 1-6, and right wingers care for another reason. But the vast majority of folks in the middle, whose that decide elections, just don't give a rat's tushy.
Dems need to focus on governing well, the economy for working people, health care, education.
Pelosi and Shumer and the Dems will get more votes reminding people the Repugs tried to take away health care than that they tried to overthrow the government.
Sad but true, most swing voters will only react to stuff that directly effects them and their families on a daily basis.
