(26,500 posts)think it's funny to have wooden, untalented (comedy - wise) rich people every so often. Because they expect to boost their ratings. Can't wait for the Dan Crenshaw episode. And if they bring in Tucker Swanson and he tries to "dance" (for lack of a better term). Just know that the apocalypse us real and that's one of the last signs, before it all ends.......

(58,785 posts)His SpaceX just delivered four astronauts to the International Space Station, and now he wants to deliver people to the moon in 2024.
The obnoxious and irresponsible firecrackers he occasionally explodes on Twitter are irrelevant to the reality that he's one of those people whose existence changes the world.

(58,785 posts)Imo, calling him a degenerate is a bit much because he doesn't share your opinions about what he should be doing. He could call you a degenerate because he doesn't agree with yours, but it wouldn't make it true.

(7,670 posts)Elon Musk didn't build the SpaceX ship, after all, he has workers and engineers on staff do that for him. He just takes the credit and the tax subsidies.

(1,303 posts)Youve got to admit, Musk is good at a whole lot of stuff. Hes not just sitting on his wealth, instead hes leveraging it to create a whole bunch of new companies that employ a whole bunch of people. Cars. Rockets. Tunnels. (Tunnels?) Hes interesting, at the very least. Now we get to find out if hes funny.

(146,286 posts)I don't watch SNL. Too late for me. However, what that TV show does is not really much of a concern for me. I can't really see why it's a concern for anyone, really.

(759 posts)Cant get to worked up either way. Tesla, hyper loop, Space-X, seems he is making a difference. Do I worship the guy - hell no. OTOH, seems to me that guys like Musk and Gates contribute to progress. Sure as heck much better than Mr. Twice Impeached and other born with a silver spoon conmen will ever achieve.
