We had a mass shooting Thursday, just another one that no longer makes news.

One dead, four wounded; still trying to figure out why a young white guy decided to get himself a ghost gun and start shooting random men on the street on a Thursday night. Two unarmed good guys stopped his rampage, tackling the shooter from behind and holding him for the police. Haele

1. It's a good thing those unarmed good guys were there.
They had to wait because the police were making traffic stops for expired tags and stuff...

2. I used to live in San Diego County. There was a lot of violence there. I don't live there
anymore.

3. Our violence level has gone down over the years
As the city works to fix some issues they find others. Mental health and homelessness are biggies now.
A focus on community policing and low income job training and programs have helped fix a lot of the old gang issues, but unaffordable housing is really biting the city in the ass. Haele |

4. To be fair, at one point after I left California I lived in Green Bay WI for about 7 years
and there was too much crime there too. Who woulda thunk?
