Something's up with the USPS -- Just had mail delivered to me today

I know one of his "reforms" was the elimination of overtime and Sunday delivery.

That's strange. I doubt that deJoke is doing anything of benefit to the agency.

7. Only "Priority Mail Express" gets

delivered on Sundays, and that's the most expensive service. Years ago a similar service was called "Special Delivery."

In some areas, the post office will also deliver Amazon packages on Sundays, if that was part of the terms of the order.

I received my neighbor's mail yesterday. Nothing for me.

I just wish they would fire DeJoy and get the USPS back on track.

Oh, and while they're at it, get rid of that law that requires them to pre-fund retirement for 75 years! That's absurd.

In the last week, we’ve had two delivery failures necessitating cancellation and reorder, and the top half of our utility payment returned in a USPS envelope. Where the bottom half of the envelope, bill and check are is anybody’s guess.

I don’t know your ‘mailbox’ arrangement (single standard standalone box, apartment complex locked box as part of a row of boxes, etc), but is it possible someone got your mail by mistake. Maybe they live near by and just took it and deposited it in your box instead of having it handled by the post office?

I didn’t know they delivered on Sunday except around the holidays.

i was out earlier checking my plants as there were severe storms last night. one plant toppled over and i had to clean up the debris.

came back inside to have another cup of coffee, and when i went back out a box was on the porch.

also saw the mail truck driving down the street.
