I would like to know

I would like to know how often cops are shot at or even seriously threatened with harm. Are there any statistics? Because it sure seems to be out of scope for the number of cops getting injured ir killed versus poc being shot and killed. Even more so how often is a cop shot or injured ina situation where a gun may have helped them.

there is a push to give police more power, or money.

Sometimes they are killed at traffic stops. One recent one.

The problem with U.S. policing is that poor people are the targets of law enforcement, it is as if we are to pretend the wealthy commit no crimes. Kind of like the old time Puritaincalfvinistic thinking, good people get rich the poor and wretched are sinners not favored with wealth by Jesus and get hell on earth.
