🚨🚨#Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt signed 3 anti-abortion bills into law, including a fetal-heartbeat bill—performing an abortion after detecting a heartbeat (detectable as early as 6 weeks) is now considered homicide.

The @GOP’s #WarOnWomen never ends.🤬

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt signed three anti-abortion bills into law on Monday, including ones to criminalize the procedure in certain cases and cost providers their medical licenses for performing them.

The Republican-controlled Senate passed measures requiring physicians who perform abortions to be certified in obstetrics and gynecology, adding performing an abortion to the list of unprofessional conduct by doctors, and prohibiting abortions if a fetal heartbeat can be detected.

In the case of the fetal-heartbeat bill, any doctor who performs an abortion after detecting a heartbeat would be guilty of homicide.

Embryonic cardiac activity can be detected using vaginal ultrasounds as early as 6 weeks, before many women know they are pregnant. Less-invasive abdominal ultrasounds can detect a heartbeat a few weeks later.

The bills have been criticized by the New York-based Center for Reproductive Rights, which has successfully sued to overturn numerous anti-abortion laws in recent years.

I don’t think we will see oklahoma changing until we have 47 states blue first. And then on to the last 3. I definitely see a 50 state democratic blue United States by 2038 or 2042. Demographics and population increase will ensure it happens.

If people want to do something right this minute, they can donate to the only abortion fund in Oklahoma at http://www.roefund.org/.

Abortion funds directly help people trying to access abortion care by helping pay for the abortion, hotel stays, transportation, parking and other costs as needed.

The Right knows its majority is over because of demographic changes they saw coming 40 years ago.

We've got to have every possible white baby, ladies, c'mon! Do your share! Pump out kids you can't afford, and we'll be there to judge you for that too! Of course we'll make it hard for you to afford daycare, because you're not good enough for $15/hr.

Imagine for a minute the states kept their ultra sounds out of women's vajayjays.

Women should continue to ignore reproductive health advice and laws coming from men without any background in obstetrics, gynecology, or or medical school.

Telemedicine and RU486 and it ain't no body's business.

These laws will be challenged, costing Oklahomans money, when the reality is it is no one's fucking business what a woman does with her body in regards to a pregnancy. This the the party of Helen Lovejoys who constantly screech "Won't someone think of the children?!" except of course when it comes to kids getting shot down like animals in schools, kids being put into cages, and kids languishing in an underfunded social service program, then these assholes are all like, "What kids?" at best, or follow the lead of the former first "lady", and crow, "I don't really care, do you?".
