The hateful nonsense now going on in Arizona is NOT a fourth "audit" of the ballots
cast in last November's election. That is how it was just described on MSNBC: a fourth "audit".
The OED defines "audit" as "an official inspection of an individual's or organization's accounts, typically by an independent body". While we usually think of an "audit" as involving financial accounts, this Arizona clown show concerns Arizona voters' votes. It does not qualify as an "audit" because: 1.) This is not an "official" inspection of anything. There is no legitimate authorization for these Qty-pies to count or inspect or invalidate a single ballot, let alone over two million, And, 2.) Rather than being conducted by an "independent body", this is nothing more than a group-grope by extremist partisan Trumpies determined to reverse the election and their Qanon-stroking hireling, the --- honest, this is is the real name--- "Cyber Ninja"! The Arizona GOP is simply throwing a spiteful temper tantrum that, I suppose, allows them to avoid facing the reality of Trump's ass-whoopin' for a few more weeks. Please, let's not dignify it by referring to out as an "audit".

17. AZ Dems filed suit, a judge late Friday night stopped the count, then had to recuse himself
Since a person involved in the count had clerked for him. A new judge heard arguments today, was concerned about the privacy of the ballots being upheld, will have more to say on Wednesday.

9. Supposedly, they are using $150,000 of taxpayer funds plus additional money
from "other private sources" which they refuse to identify. ( Speculation suggests Trump TV as one source.)

20. This is spot on.
Should send it to MSNBC.
At the least they should describe it as an illegitimate audit. I think all Trump wants, and this group wants to be the one that gives it to him, is ONE ruling go his way. He doesn't need to overturn the election. He just needs one "victory" to piggy back on. His cult will believe the "If there's one rotten apple, there's more..." . I can see it. The Cyber Ninja "Qty-pies" will hold a big press conference soon to announce the massive fraud they uncovered which, if found out earlier, would have prevented a Democratic steal of Maricopa County, Arizona. It feeds the cult enough to keep them alive and starving for more. And Trump can ride the wave longer. He just wants to keep surfing, being in the news, for good or bad he doesn't care, until 2024. And he will use this as his first bonifide proof of the Big Steal. Any news org that refuses to mirror that opinion will be dismissed by his followers as corrupt and fake. He doesn't need them anyways. https://www.esquire.com/news-politics/politics/a36231426/republican-party-deep-crazy/ The is madness, subcontracting the manufacture of ammunition for the next outbreak of sedition. It is a completely closed loop—the only outfit covering the kabuki recount seriously is One America News, and when the “results” inevitably “prove” that the losing candidate last November actually won by eleventy-thousand votes, a substantial chunk of the American electorate is going to believe them, and then we’re off to the races again. |

27. I honestly don't understand how this can be happening.
Ive been an advocate for election integrity for almost 20 years. I understand all presidential ballots must be preserved for 22 months following the election.
The minute they released the ballots to a third party, they violated this statute. The ballots can be compromised or altered now. allowing access to the ballots without oversight should be illegal. there should be a federal lawsuit. https://uscode.house.gov/view.xhtml?req=granuleid:USC-prelim-title52-section20701&num=0&edition=prelim |

I would have no problem with copies of the ballots being given out, like the humbolt county transparency project.... the copies file could be posted on line so anyone could count them

28. This isn't an audit and never was. It is attempting to alter the evidence to fit the allegations.
Last edited Wed Apr 28, 2021, 04:30 PM - Edit history (1) It is both a propaganda move and a genuine attempt to steal the election. They expect to show how it was "stolen" in AZ and the other disputed states by establishing a trail of false clues suggesting the ballots were either physically altered, replaced with substitute documents, and/or that the machines used to scan and tally the votes were modified to switch votes away from Trump.
The "Cyber Ninjas" have claimed they know how it was done and that they know what evidence to look for. IMO they are in the process of manufacturing that evidence using the real ballots and destroying any chain of custody which would be the basis of evidence going forwards. Any previous audit would have more validity in court than anything these tools could present. But that is not the point. Their intent is to create a level of doubt sufficient to support demands for the same kind of kangaroo investigation scenario in any other contested state. It is "Hanging Chads" 2020. The intent is not to prove their false claims but to generate enough headlines to show the MAGA crowd there are "reasons" to doubt the Biden election is true and support the contention that an "illegitimate" federal government and its laws should not be obeyed. |
