This was the topic on Right Wing Hate Radio today in SoCal (I don't know if this show is local or national). Usually the topic is the recall of Gavin Newsom. Let's see if he does it. also the KKK is a democratic institution?

This weekend, CNN journalist and reporter Jim Acosta sat behind an anchor's desk at the oldest cable news network and called Fox News's Tucker Carlson a Klansman and a "white power correspondent."

Tucker should sue the hell out of him.

"How about Tucker Carlson, who in the wake of the Derek Chauvin verdict showed us all what's under the hood," Acosta said. "Under the hood..." Get it? A Klan hood. He's calling Tucker Carlson a Klansman. How can Tucker be a Klansman? He's a Republican. Everyone knows the KKK is a long-time Democratic institution.

When I hear that, I ask them which party modern klan kooks identify with, pointing out along the way that southern dems - Dixiecrats - switched party affiliation wholesale as soon as there was serious discussion about ensuring the civil rights of African Americans.
