I know it's TYT, but I really can't disagree with anything they say.
This is the culture in police departments.
Because she is elderly, she may never fully recover, and physical trauma like this might actually hasten death, as physical trauma seems to suck the energy and vitality out of the elderly faster. It's almost like a parasite.
All over $13.88 she forgot to pay for at a Walmart due to dementia.

These assholes need to be fired immediately and probably face charges. I doubt they will, but they should.

(17,927 posts)2. The video of these cops discussing the incident is disgusting, and Uygur's analysis is excellent.
Americans can no longer deny reality: police are literally trained to brutalize and kill. The acceptance and encouragement of such gratuitous violence is deeply ingrained in cop culture. It's clear the system cannot be reformed. It has to be replaced.

That happened to my wife's grandma.
She was assaulted for her groceries as she was getting home one afternoon.
She was in her early 90s, and walked a mile & a half to shop at least twice a week, and walked 8 blocks every day to visit my FiL. Plus, walked to church 3 miles each Sunday.
After she recovered from the attack, she wasn't the same. The vigor was gone. She died 7 months after she recovered from her injuries.
