That the eye roll is referring to an assumption that the First Dude is being exceptionally magnanimous in allowing his wife, a mere woman, to have a job so much more prestigious than his.

If my husband became the CEO of his company, I’d be cheering him on. From my own crappy house husband perspective.

Really Stinky, I’m not trying to put you down, suggesting that you be more considerate of misogyny and the increasing irrelevance or gender based role models.
