actually the term few referred to 3 at the minimum, but no more than 5 or 6 max.

Several would reference at least 6 at the min, usually 7 or more.

"Many" should be about synonymous with the term Several at least.

3 does not define either word to me. Unless we now have a different language in this context.

The most awful of them all (at least currently) is Roger Stone, who got his start with Richard Nixon in 1972 and has been pictured with Reagan, Bush I, and Trump, clearly indicating a connection of some sort.

Toensing and DiGenova have been around since President Clinton's time.

These awful people seem to be able survive most anything. Why is that?

7. Apropos of almost nothing, this reminds me of my elderly (senile?) grandmother being insistent

that God only lets three people into Heaven every year. Which might have been more amusing and less disspiriting if the context wasn't her fretting aloud (and certainly also in private) about how she hoped my just deceased grandfather wasn't "burning in Hell", and wringing her hands.

As best as I was able to piece together later, a) at some prior time some priest or televangelist had said that few people are allowed into Heaven, and B) later she asked one of my aunts "how many is a few?" And -- absent any context -- the aunt answered "three?" And c) some time later my grandfather died. A + B + C = Distressed grandmother.

Solo is one. A couple is two. Most of these other number-alternative words are "who the hell knows?" unless the context indicates something specific.
