Was listening as i drove to the drugstore to get my covid shot. Guy on said though MoJo's delivery wasn't impressive, the speech was very well crafted & had impressive lines such as "We've all seen the knee of injustice on their necks of Black Americans". Powerful!

BTW Morning Joehad stats on earlier that said 85% of Americans feel more optimistic after Joe's speech the country is headed in the right direction. Cant beat that.

and Sinema change their minds it isn't going to happen.

The shots of Manchin at the address last night, sure gave the impression of what an arrogant person he is.

A full point off because I disagree with how the party as a whole "sells"

Raising min wage.
Providing medical care
Raising taxes on the wealthy freeloaders.

I accepted long ago that I am not going to win any friends saying so, but in all sincerity... I just think if we had a more honest talk about it then we could get more done.

It is fine to detail how many rich people didn't pay, but it is more than that.

The 1% have so damn much money they can't even fit it all in their US bank accounts. They have to stash most of it in foreign tax havens. In the meantime the rest of us are struggling to get decent food or our own roof. That is idiotic.

If the richest can sit on mountains of cash then surely they won't go bankrupt paying a decent wage and hacking up 2 measily percentage points more to help pay for the services that keep their labor force fed, housed, educated, healthy, and able to go to work.

Sell that to blue collar whites that ran to the R's after NAFTA. You won't pick up all of them .. but enough.

Disingenuous bastards play the "socialist/commie" card the moment you mention rectifying wealth inequality. Virtually no one is proposing a socialist economy in America. And those lying, cowardly assholes know it.

Step one - Is speaker Donald Trump?

Step two - If "no" - Grade = A+ unless speaker falls on face.
