Americans, feeling pent up after working from home for more than a year, are ready to travel again now that more and more people are getting vaccinated against Covid-19, according to a new survey this month from Seattles Expedia Group.
Widespread availability of vaccines prompted 43% of Americans to book an upcoming trip or say theyre more comfortable traveling, according to the survey, which questioned 2,200 Americans.
Eighteen percent said wider vaccine availability didnt influence their plans because theyd already been traveling.
In addition, Expedia said interest is rekindling in business travel with nearly 20% of people in the Northeast and West saying theyre most likely to travel for work in the near future.

Good news the Airbnbs are cheaper and more available.
The bad news is it is cheaper to buy a new car at your destination than to rent one.
