Most are probably like me and end up reading from a lot of different outlets each day. One of the great things about forums like this is that people share things from all over the place. We are directed toward these sources by others sharing them.
At the same time, most of us have our own stops we make each day. These can be news organizations or full on opinion outlets.
Mine:
CNN
NYT
Al Jazeera
Black Agenda Report
Tampa Bay Times
Of course I read from a much larger group of outlets. Those are simply the places I take myself to each day.
What are yours?
Thanks for playing.

Also big on google news searches. It seems I don't read an article anymore without ending up on google to look further into something I've just read.

(57,073 posts)I hit all the mainstream media outlets for info, but often the best news is right here on DU.
I love Statnews & Propublica as well.
I'm not familiar with either of the two places you mentioned. That's really the personal reason for my op. I do hope others get something out of it as well. Looking forward to checking out the two you mentioned.

I often visit rawstory, then go to original source.
Also I find some interesting tidbits at Palmerreport, although many here don't care for the site.
Enjoy!

(4,399 posts)as best I can and lurk in the more specific forums. I visit the WP and enjoy the superior skills of the mostly op-ed news writers at The Atlantic and their wide coverage of cultural, et al, issues. I also follow some .org 503c places for investigative journalists. On top of those, I signed up for all/most of the NYT's newsletters and get many articles free from the pay-wall. I watch health docu-series and follow science and medical/research aggregators' newsletters as well. I still miss a lot, I'm sure; still my e-mail is jammed most days with more than I could ever read. That said, I've turned down cookies at sites; used private windows, I've used ad-blocking and a VPN and a variety of browsers and search engines, LOL! I learn a lot about what the FB knows about me by what sponsored stuff shows up on my feed, hahaha!

The folks at DU are the best for spilling the media's pulsing world! Some days, I can't even get to the e-mail, hahaha!

Then, it's DU, and links from news stories I find there.
At 5 PM, it's back to the local CBS affiliate, WCCO, for local and national news in the afternoon.
