And here is a June 29, 1972 Nixon press conference just 12 days after the Watergate burglary and just six days after Nixon told his chief of staff Bob Haldeman to request that the CIA block the FBI's Watergate investigation. It was the tape of these conversations that forced Nixon to resign the Presidency in August 1974.
