the right has decided it is time to seize absolute permanent power, with trump as their truncheon

no voting

no organizing or advocating online

no demonstrating or speaking out in public

no rights for LGBTQ - no adoption, no medical care, no military service

no rights for non-whites

no public education

no infrastructure

the tyranny of one-party rule by fascist white supremacists.

they are SICK of democracy. they're sick of bothering with the charade. why should we have to - we're morally right! Let's just go the Handmaid's Tale Republic of Gilead route.

they want to take power and never look back.

And don't you worry, it's coming. Maybe not as quick as we'd like, but it's being done correctly and by the book, and that's why we're different. Other places, other times, the failed coup plotters would have already been rounded up, but in the US, I'm proud to say, we have a system of justice that we stick to, and we need to do it that way and see it done that way in order to bring back confidence in our systems. It can be frustrating, but it will grind finely. I have faith in Biden's administration and Merrick Garland to go wherever the path leads and do what needs to be done. Giuliani is the first massive signal that this is the case.

They were innocuous compared to some of the posts I've read recently. Profanity, name calling and the like, and they all get a pass. Now, believe me, I have no problem with anyone beating up on that...person, or the method they choose to do it. I just find the policing in that regard to be a bit, um, let's say "inconsistent."

However, I would take a hide as a badge of honour-a hide would say more about the jurors than about me and my post.

We have reached the point of it's PUTINS way! SCARY how much RETHUGLICON (plus the 70 million followers)support this BULLSHIT! We are being attacked from the inside with OUTSIDE help! Also scary is the fact that our law enforcement tags right along with it! If the Democrats, and our federal government under AG Garland don't succeed in what needs to be accomplished,it could be a civil war.

They're not abandoning the lies, of course, but outright stealing is increasingly their modus operandi.

... however the decision-makers in the Repuke Party have already seen the faults and weaknesses of their "Fearless Leader." They know now he's not "the one." Next time they'll be a little more careful I suppose.

The little ChumpHumpies will get the word sooner or later. He's past his prime. He got put out to pasture.
