Well, I'll be damned. Board ruled FB ban will stay in place for now.

The board punting this back to FB: "In applying a vague, standardless penalty and then referring this case to the Board to resolve, Facebook seeks to avoid its responsibilities. The Board declines Facebook’s request and insists that Facebook apply and justify a defined penalty. "

Stephanie Ruhle just pointed out on MSNBC that Trump has just been suspended not expelled from Facebook. Suspensions usually have term limits. We'll see.

*** BUT: the @OversightBoard says @Facebook "violated its own rules by imposing a suspension that was ‘indefinite,’" & calls on the platform to review the case & decide within 6 months whether to "impose a time-limited suspension or account deletion."

With Democrats in charge in DC, though, FB may have second thoughts about reinstating Trump, for now. They will do what it takes to avoid accountability for their actions.

Then they can extend the ban for another six months as they toss it back to Facebook. Rinse and repeat as necessary. The old bastard's gotta die eventually to make the whole question moot.
