Tax question, help needed

So is there a way with the pandemic that my handicap, elderly mom can get out of paying her usual $3200+ she usually has to pay? Maybe something that was passed to help people like her?

1. Most elderly people on fixed incomes don't pay so much in taxes.

Turbotax has a free tax app for filing 1040s. I would check the accuracy of her returns. It makes no sense for her to be paying so much.

You could try it and see if there's anything new that you might not have known about.

Good luck. Glad that she is so well cared for!
