Obama was back in the headline once in a while during those 4 years.

And knowing that thing and how he always wants to hear himself talk or mentioned, I am surprised there was a black out on him for as long as it had.

That said, he (and his ilk) are dangerous and we can not afford to totally ignore him. I don't know where the balance is, but at least MSM reports a lot less on him and he's got little social media presence.
