(82,849 posts)But in Oregon, when a defendant is dodging service of process, the plaintiff can ask the court for permission to serve the defendant by publication. It's kind of humiliating for a well-to-do defendant to be the subject of service by publication, but if that's the way Mo wants it.

(26,257 posts)otherwise, why is he avoiding being served/etc.? Why is he avoiding an opportunity to mouth off w/ the free press that would surround him at every moment once he gets indicted? Perhaps because he knows he's guilty.
I think that if people are smart, they should start running nonstop public messages (6 seconds in length or so), regarding brooks and why is he avoiding the rule of law, avoid being served? Perhaps he's guilty as charged?
