Nothing else, just like first one. My kitteh is snuggling extra close, having checked me all over.
Hope everyone has a manageable time of it.
My thanks to all who have responded with your own experiences, and your well-wishes. DUers are always the BEST!
Be safe and well.

(25,455 posts)Someone told me to drink lots of water so before both my Moderna shots, I pounded down the water. Same with my second shot..before n after for a couple of days. Never can get enough water but it sure helped me.

(129,427 posts)forgot who) suggested doing arm stretches during the waiting period, which I did. The staffer said it was an excellent idea., and reminded me to eat and drink well today. Another DU'er was told to drink electrolyte water, but I don't have any. Ah, well.

(40,801 posts)Temp got over 101 and I had to lie down and wait for the fever to break. About 90 minutes of dues paying in the fetal position, then I was in the clear. My sister had the same experience. We agreed it was a small price to pay.
Best wishes for smooth sailing for you.

(75,820 posts)My second Moderna side effects hit me around then. Lasted about 14 hours. They subsided FAST!
Ran a fever & felt achy in my upper back & shoulders.
Got my shot at 1pm on a Wednesday. Woke up around 5 Thursday morning feeling ok. An hour later it hit.
Before 8pm, all gone! I functioned all day, just felt a little crummy.
Hope your effects no worse & no longer than mine. Best case, even less!

(129,427 posts)crossed that it continues thus. Most of the people I know who have had both have had no reactions. So I will hope to remain in their company!
Glad yours only lasted a short time, and that you were able to function. Be safe and well.

(75,820 posts)My wife (Pfizer) had nothing after the 2nd, and only a slightly sore arm after #1.
IIRC, around 30% of Moderna recipients had no side reactions. Maybe, you're in that crowd!
