6. In NJ, there is a religious minister who would create indentured servants out of people on parole.

He runs a series of properties, such as a church, his private residence, a daycare, tenant housing, etc.

He would work out a deal with the parolees, where he would get their social security and any other government funding, put them up in a condo unit with 7 other parolees (verging on fire occupancy issues) and give them basic food to eat, make them work tending to his properties, and tell them they had to go out 2 hours per day job hunting. Meanwhile, these people have no transportation, their lodging is in a rural area with no business or public transportation, they have no money, and when they are at his properties they are not allowed to leave. He does 'pay' them' a couple of dollars an hour, but holds onto the money so they don't spend it and forces saving, and gives them a few bucks for cigs or snacks. This essentially ensures that they are indentured servants, shackled by the lack of opportunity and money.

4. I'm from Akron and we had our share thumper. Angley actually bought the "Cathedral of .....

... of Tomorrow" buffet (along with the Cathedral and old folks home) from Rex Humbard.

Rex came to Akron with a big circus tent and eight stock sermons regularly and stay four or five days and move on. On one visit the tent was destroyed in a storm. He found a church that needed a preacher and he has two months of sermons.

When he built the Cathedral of Tomorrow, it was designed to look like a big circus tent in shape.
