Trump jets out of Florida to spend the summer at his Bedminster golf course in New Jersey to escape

Trump jets out of Florida to spend the summer at his Bedminster golf course in New Jersey to escape the heat and plan 2024 election after saying Mother's Day goodbye to Melania and Barron at Mar-a-Lago

Pictures taken by DailyMail.com show Trump boarding a private jet out of Florida on Sunday evening
Sources told DailyMail.com Trump will move his base to his New Jersey Bedminster golf club for summer
The reported move north puts Trump close to New York and within helicopter distance the Hamptons
A source already told DailyMail.com that Mother's Day was Trump's signal to leave. 'The main house will close until the fall and the Trumps will depart to spend the summer at their club in Bedminster,' the source said
Mother-of-one Melania opted for a polka dot dress as she dined with Barron, 15, who sported longer hair
Donald had earlier stopped to greet a young fan outside Mar-A-Lago, hugging and posing with the boy
It is unclear if Melania and Barron will join Trump - a decision which will likely depend on the teen's schooling

No one spends more than the 183 obligatory days over the winter in Florida.

as a residence at all according to a conditional use permit or operating agreement with Palm Beach city government.

Oh well, another broken agreement/law flaunt for the former dude.

What sway the swayback must hold.

Edit: flout, not flaunt

5. I just read that the city declared that Trump is not a resident, he is an employee of the resort.

So he can stay as long as he wants.

Right, another rule broken for his lardship.

7. Man, I'd love to see that challenged in court.

If he's not a resident there, just where does he reside to qualify him to vote in Palm Beach County? Can't have it both ways. Seems like that would be a slam dunk, easy case.

Squirming and oozing through life, as always

8. Good point. I guess he can claim that he is an employee who lives on the premises.

Exactly, he doesn't have to follow the rules like the rest of us.

One engine at a time.

I doubt he can afford to make it airworthy anymore.

10. However this does give SDNY access to serve him summons and indictments.

Another thought. Is a warrant or indictment from DOJ coming? ... and maybe he got out of Florida so they have to begin planning again on how to serve his summons/indictment ?

Perhaps he is preparing his legal defense from his NJ golf club? What happened to Trump Tower? Is he "safer" from the law in NJ than NY?

I think one of his first visitors will be Rudy Giuliani. They need to talk strategy. Donald needs to know everything that the Feds got on Rudy's devices. Is there anything on them that might incriminate him?

My conspiracy theory of the day.

“members of both Mar-a-Lago and the golf club have been told that joining fees will be hiked. Two golf club sources said the initiation was expected to more than double to $350,000”

Hahahahaha

13. People with that kind of money will never miss such a paltry sum

Which is another reason they need to pay a higher tax rate. They're not going to miss the money, but we the people, through our elected government officials, can put that money to far better use than the initiation fees at some overpriced monument to tacky hype.
