And that their sport benefits very little from it. Discussions have been had on a small scale about doing away with it. A couple of basketball teams have been publicly vocal about it.

It’s not a requirement each day Congress opens for business. Seems we should start there. Forced attendance.

I used to bat boy for the bar leagues as a kid for tips, and they never played the Star spangled banner. Hell, I don't even remember them even playing it at out H.S. football games (this was pre-911).
