(7,811 posts)Everybody on DU seems to have had some reaction, and so I was watching for something. And there was nothing. The next morning I woke up at 4:30 am, and was too twitchy to go back to sleep easily. But that's not even anything. So thanks for reporting nothing much, as it makes it easier for me to admit not even that much.

(128,979 posts)and congrats on getting it!!
I had my 2nd shot what will be 3 weeks ago tomorrow and the first couple days I had the sore arm (a longer time than the 1st shot) and there was even a tiny raised area around the injection site, but no other issues (thankfully). The first shot had actually hit me 3 days later with some fatigue and the same type of feeling that I would get when I had a cold coming on, but that resolved by the next day. Neither time did I get a fever or chills.
My sisters and one BIL all had Pfizer but my other BIL had Moderna like me and my sis said that the 2nd shot knocked him off his feet. She said he had fled to their basement (fixed up as a comfy rec room), plopped on the sofa, and was having chills and fever and aches and what not - the whole 9 yards. He lived.
The shot has done wonders to him though because my sis and nephew have been "adopted" by a young stray tuxie cat that visited them daily for the past couple weeks and my BIL only tolerates cats in general due to his allergies (my sis used to have a himmy). So suddenly he has taken to the cat too and they now "officially" have a cat (they took the cat to the vet today to have checked out, get some shots and screening, plus they bought all the stuff for him). He's due to get neutered later this week. Kitty is all settled in and found him some "hoo-muns".
Whoda thunk it!

(21,871 posts)I had my second Moderna 4 days ago. Sore arm. Maybe a tiny bit tired the next day, but so relieved.
