Republicans are incredibly dangerous to us in their death throes, they still have a lot of power, and they will abuse that power as much as possible to regain and hold power.

You can be almost certain, in fact, that if Republicans gain control of either the House or the Senate in the next election, which is both historically likely and likely to be aided by voter suppression, they simply will not certify a Democrat as the winner of a Presidential election in 2024, or ever after.
