5. I live in a RED district

I see almost as many confederate flags as Trump ones. When I see the Biden/Harris signs still up, which I do, I see them as a proud declaration of supporting democracy. I see them as symbols of hope against hatred. They inspire me to remember America is a good place full of people willing to stand up and do the right thing. When I see trump/confederate hatred symbols I remember the Democratic sings and I don't burn their fucking houses down with them inside.

There is no moving on yet. This war is not over. Democracy and America are still very much threatened. Reality is far from accepted. There is no resting on the laurels b/c one election has ended. If that election is settled then why the recount in AZ? If that election is settled than why does RW radio still blast the message that socialist liberal elitist stole the election and prices are on the rise b/c Dems want people to suffer?

Don't for one second think reason and discourse will win this fight. The right believes in the cause of a conservative white america. They will burn EVERYTHING down to get it. Keep your powder dry and your musket primed. This fight ain't over. Work your ass off everyday and get out the vote.

Since it's on the upper part of their house, I'm hoping it just there because, being an elderly couple, they can't get up there easily to remove it. Or not. Perhaps they're holding out hopes. When kids are learning to read, they tend to read everything. I find it incredibly crude and rude of people to put up signs or wear clothing with words most of us don't want our young children saying.

give them an anonymous call and ask them if they need help getting that old sign down. You could even get someone else to remove it and pay them anonymously but that sounds so cowardly. Still, the way many of the hold outs act I would not want to put you at risk of getting pay back of any kind. You just never know what you can expect from never die Trumpers or their friends.

18. Pathetic, but disquieting. These people (or at least a lot of them) are unhinged.

The three houses in the expensive subdivision two up from mine that left their multiple Trump signs up until the very last Supreme Court decision throwing out the filed court cases AND the last date for state certification freaked me out a bit, but even they finally took them down. Seeing the gargantuan Trump flags still displayed by the same types that flew oversized confederate flags driving around is beyond disturbing. I do all I can to avoid them (though fairly rare where I am currently), not even wanting to pass them on the highway.

21. I spotted the most pathetic creature while leaving a store on Sunday

He was your picture-perfect Trumpist. He was driving a old, beat-up, rust-bucket GMC pickup that was festooned with pro-Trump and anti-biden flags. The country music was blasting. His baseball-style hat was filthy and his beard was unkempt.

A couple of the store managers happened to be on the sidewalk and, as I walked by them I said "some folks just gotta let their freak flags fly". They both busted a gut.
