It is the GOP leadership that is pushing a fascist type of government. Why? They want power over Democracy. One person one vote is not their belief. The GOP leadership just wants power and complete power anyway they can obtain it.

They are ALL problematic.

They see no problem in knocking other American voters off of voting rolls just to maintain their power. These are not good people deep down.
Look at their actions while governing. The lying. The cheating. The GOP leadership has no bottom when it comes to honesty and trustworthiness.
