CHAFFEE COUNTY, Colo. (KDVR) Prosecutors have filed new charges against Barry Morphew, alleging the man accused of murdering his missing wife submitted a presidential ballot in her name.
Morphew was recently arrested on charges of murdering his wife, Suzanne, after she disappeared a year ago. She still has yet to be found.

On April 22, Barry was asked by FBI agents why he submitted a ballot for Suzanne.
Just because I wanted Trump to win I know she (Suzanne) was going to vote for Trump anyways, he told investigators. He also said he thought the other guys' were cheating so he would give him (former president Trump) another vote.

During the last couple of elections, the right-wing propaganda organs would be screaming about this 24/7 month after month after month.
But since Mr. Morphew was a Trump voter, I suspect that well get to lay back and listen to the sound of distant crickets chirping while the megaphones remain silent.
Nothing to see here, just a dead woman and voter fraud, move along.

(34,377 posts)So Mr. Morphew committed voter fraud for nothing. Not that it matters with the charges he's facing, but still...

(5,897 posts)So far all the voter fraud I've heard of is for TFG. I hope this guy is prosecuted as severely as the law allows for all of this. What a douche.

(34,377 posts)There were obviously problems in the marriage. Well, he'll never get the chance to vote again.

TFG isn't likely to pay even his own lawyers, much less anybody else's.

(823 posts)By voting in her stead, because that's how she would have voted, tells me he knows she is dead and could not vote herself. Nice of this shithead to incriminate himself.

I wonder if his lawyer will go for the 'Foxitis' defense, or 'Just Following Orders (from Donald).'

(11,563 posts)Not to mention Law and Order. This story must represent thousands of the fraudulent votes the Republiqans keep talking about. Maybe even a couple of million. The fact that the votes they claim are counter to this one - or these ones, if you will - is incidental and not a particularly good narrative.

(14,853 posts)Barry was very dominant in the relationship and my sister was very passive, gentle soul, Melinda told Inside Edition. He had a great tendency to overpower and intimidate people to get what they wanted.
She explained that at first, she didnt believe Suzannes husband of 26 years could have anything to do with her disappearance.
But as time went on, Melinda said the family grew suspicious, especially following a particular conversation she said she had with Suzanne shortly before her disappearance.
The Friday before Mothers Day, my sister had sent me a text message that morning. It was very lengthy. It was very powerful. It was very revealing, Melinda said. She had been ready to share some things close to her chest. She said she was scared.
