Joe Biden has proven an elusive target for Republicans. With the Cheney fight over, their focus is back on the president

WASHINGTON – Shortly after meeting at the White House on Wednesday, House Republican leader Kevin McCarthy signaled a renewed effort with an aggressive fundraising text targeting his host, the president.

"I just met with Corrupt Joe Biden and he’s STILL planning to push his radical Socialist agenda onto the American people," the text said.

McCarthy and other Republicans have said intraparty squabbles, including the drama surrounding Rep. Liz Cheney, distracted them from presenting a unified front against Biden and his big spending plans.

Now, with Cheney expelled from Republican congressional leadership, the GOP and its allies are renewing attacks on Biden on issues such as immigration, taxing the wealthy, foreign policy, and the ability of a 78-year-old man to handle the political world's toughest jobs.

1. Poor President Biden. I've been reading recently that he's also facing criticism for

the recent though long-ongoing animosity between Israel and Palestine. I learned about
hypocrisy from my parents long ago and it's interesting to see that it's still alive and
thriving.

2. The radical fascist Republican Party sees "socialism" everywhere.

They'd feel better if they just owned a dictionary...and could read...and think.

4. The GQP can only denigrate

"Corrupt" Joe Biden... "radical socialist agenda"... these words and phrases come out of their mouths as easily as "May I snort another line Mistress?"

Maybe Dems could learn to do the same since the low-info folks grab these words and use them to form their voting opinions. I don't hear elected Dems calling McCarthy and his comrades "traitorous" on a regular basis to the press, and I suspect if we coalesced around a few key words and consistently used them in all conversations, particularly when speaking with the press, it might make an impact.

Or maybe I'm dreaming... we're too damn polite sometimes.
