According to NC DA, a car is ALWAYS a deadly weapon if a suspect doesn't get out of it

George Zimmerman claimed Trayvon used the sidewalk as a deadly weapon. cops claims phones and wallets looked like deadly weapons

But let's be real. The deadly weapon in these instances is black skin.

The car IS a deadly weapon.

The suspect in this case hit two police officers.

I don't believe there is a racial element to this case. I'm pretty sure that a white suspect that hits two cops with a car ... would be very dead.

The suspect in this case had a choice:
Surrender and be arrested
or
Try to drive thru the officers.

I think he made the wrong call.

He was only quote driving toward them unquote because the cop jumped in front of the moving vehicle. And then Brown backed up with no one behind him, obviously trying to avoid hitting any of them. That's when they shot him.

He was trying to get away, not trying to injure any officers. Any danger they supposedly found themselves in, they put their own selves in.

Police can't jump in front of a moving vehicle and then shoot the driver on the grounds that he was trying to run them over. If they really think they're in danger of being run over, they should get out of the way, not shoot the driver In the back of the head.

But why am I not surprised that regardless how cravenly cost behave and how unjustified their shooting of people is, there are always going to be people who dive in to defend the indefensible, even on a progressive discussion board.
