How much can these whining republicans do to stop an investigation into Jan 6

We've all watched over the last 4 years how justice never seems to come to certain people in this land. Please tell me that we will have an investigation. Certainly there will be justice, right?

We've heard a lot of republicans whining that there shouldn't be an investigation. Can these whinners actually stop an investigation?

1. definitely they can neuter it.

since we agreed to let the gop vet any subpoena the committee issues. Usually the chair ( in this case a Democrat) has power to issue subpoenas, but apparently we negotiated ourselves into a corner where it requires the ranking member ( the goper) to also sign off on it.
If this stands, that investigation won't lead anywhere. The repubs will just stop any subpoena.

There needs to be way to have justice!

2. I want justice as much as the next guy

But i want both the house and senate going full blast on our agenda. I have a bad feeling about 2022 and i want to get as much accomplished as possible before then.

Do the families of those injured or killed have standing to get this done?
